Sarita Lou is a dancer, choreographer, yogini and playwright. She has been teaching movement for over ten years; specializing in cultivating freedom of movement and fullness of expression in both her dance and yoga classes.
She was recently named faculty for the Stella Adler Studio of Acting where she is training young actors to breathe, move and find their "voice" through the body. She is also a dance and yoga instructor at both Barnard College and Columbia University. Sarita is both a teacher and a performer. Having worked in both film and theater, she continually seeks ways to share her love of movement with the world. Sarita's film work includes starring in her own dance DVD entitled Dance and Be Fit: Hip Hop Cardio.
Sarita wants to change the world through movement. To create a world where everyone dances. To experience a world where everyone loves and cherishes their bodies. To see a world where we actively create our health and happiness through movement.
