Stefano Musso studied art and electronics in his home town of Milan, Italy, and began performing ambient, electro-acoustic music under the name Alio Die in 1989. Characterized by evocative acoustic sounds manipulated and tendered electronically, Alio Die's work builds intimate soundscapes tied to the mystery and majesty of life and nature. His first CD Under an Holy Ritual, released on his label Hic Sunt Leones in 1992 and re-released on Projekt in 1993, was received with international acclaim. He subsequently released more than 25 CDs, and collaborated with many well-known artists such as Robert Rich, Vidna Obmana, Mathias Grassow, Nick Parkin, Yannick Dauby, Amelia Cuni, Raffaele Serra, Ora, Antonio Testa.

A YogiSun: Samantha Mehra
Samantha was born and raised in London. As a third generation yogi she is honored to have traveled and studied extensively, with some of the finest teachers worldwide. Expressing the teachings for almost two decades. She continues her studies with Sri Shankarcharaya, which has deep roots in Hindu Tantrism. As a well-known and respected teacher in her community, she has been a luminescent guide for her students, many of whom have gone on to become teachers themselves.
She is currently preparing a Teacher Training course to be offered in 2012, is busy recording a follow-up to her restorative yoga program and recording Shankarcharaya’s teachings on the “Precepts to Conscious Living” to be released later this year. Samantha lives in Venice, California where she predominately teaches privately, and offers regular group classes at Exhale Center for Sacred Movement and The Ashram in Calabasas.

Derek Beres is the creator of EarthRise Yoga, a rigorous Vinyasa-based practice pulling from his decade of study in various yogic practices, as well as studies in various martial arts and dance disciplines, including certifications in Budokon and Thai Yoga Massage. He currently teaches fourteen weekly classes at Equinox Fitness and Pure Yoga in New York City, and travels internationally as an instructor and lecturer on yoga, as well as his work in international music as a journalist, DJ, and music producer. Derek currently writes for Yoga Journal, Rolling Stone, National Geographic, Huffington Post and others. His column, Beyond Postures: The Art of Yoga, was featured on various Gaiam websites. Derek served as a Lululemon ambassador for their store on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
